The North Yorkshire Moors

Located in north-eastern Yorkshire, England, the North Yorkshire Moors is an upland area that includes one of the biggest expanses of heather moorlands in the UK. In 1952, the area was designated as a National Park, through the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act of 1949.
