St John’s Wood Classic & Supercar Pageant

The wonderful St John’s Wood Classic & Supercar Pageant takes place on Sunday 23rd of June between 11.00am and 5.00pm. All monies raised from the event are in aid of the Rays of Sunshine & St John Hospice. Unlike other fundraising events this one has a totally different world of attractions than your usual community fete. At the pageant you will be able to get up close to over thirty different classic cars and ever popular supercars. As well as the main attraction of the vehicles there will also be a fun fair for the younger members of the family to enjoy, while the bigger kids and the adults can enjoy all of the delights of the High Street. Where else can you see Stirling Moss’ 250GT Ferrari and a mix of pre and post war luxury vehicles? This is one event that the whole of the family really can enjoy, from the smallest child to the most enthusiastic petrol head, with some retail therapy and good food thrown in on the side.

About St John’s Wood

St John’s Wood is situated only a few miles from the heart of the City of London, and there is more to do here than you may think at first glance. This is the locality of NW8, here you can spend a leisurely afternoon taking in the sights and sounds of a county cricket match, or take a walk through the magnificent surroundings that is Regents Park. Take to the water on the park’s boating lake or take the children to the zoo as it’s all here. This is also where you will find the zebra crossing made famous by the Beatles on their Abbey Road album cover, located just outside of the most iconic recording studios in London. Sir Paul McCartney still owns a home here, so don’t be surprised if you see the odd famous face making an appearance at the Classic & Supercar Pageant too.
