Travel Britain: London Hotels

London and its surrounding areas attract millions of visitors every year who come to see the world-famous sights and to soak in the vibrant atmosphere that is prevalent everywhere. In order to accommodate all of these visitors there are several hotels throughout the city that can provide luxury living.

 

Many of the companies that host business travelers in London look for luxury accommodations that will impress their business associates whereas families who come to London for vacation will most likely look for hotels that will give them all of the comforts of home.

One of the most well known hotels in London that tourists and business people stay at is the Parkes Hotel. This hotel is about 20 kilometers from London Heathrow Airport. All of the rooms here are fully air conditioned. Many of the guests are astonished at the beautiful marble bathrooms. The Parkes Hotel also offers a complimentary buffet to all of their guests. This is a great place to stay as a tourist because it is near some of the most famous tourist attractions in London.

There are also three restaurants that are on the premises. There is the Butlers Restaurant, The Conservatory and the Terrace Bar which each offer a unique dining style.

The Parkcity Hotel, built in 1869, offers a unique style of Victorian blended with contemporary. This hotel is in an area which offers many outdoor recreational activities such as canoeing, rowing, boating and horseback riding. Most of the tourists who choose to stay at this hotel do so for the activities that can be found in this area.

If you plan on spending your vacation going to the theatre then the Covent Garden Hotel is for you. This is a five star hotel that is in the heart of the theatre district. It is a 58 room hotel that is literally footsteps from the Royal Opera House.

The Renaissance Chancery Court London is one of the largest hotels in London with 356 guest rooms. It is a modern hotel that is in a building that was originally built in 1914. You are bound to get the full experience of London if you choose to stay in this hotel.

There is absolutely no shortage of magnificent hotels in London. Some of the best hotels in the world are situated in the heart of London. When you stay at one of these hotels you are right in the middle of everything that this amazing city has to offer. You will never waste time getting from place to place because everything is so close to you. Being in the heart of the city is also nice because after a long day of being busy with activities you can easily get back to your hotel and relax.
