Scotland’s capital city has everything that a major city should have and more, including a Royal Palace, A Castle, fine arts collections, museums and great shopping.

However, make sure you have comfortable walking shoes because Edinburgh is very hilly.

Edinburgh is at its liveliest in August at The International Arts Festival, founded in 1947 this three week Festival for visual and performing arts is now the world’s premier Cultural event. From opera, ballet, dance and theater, attendees Should book in advance. 

The city capital has two distinct parts the Old town, south and east of the castle is full with amazing history.

A must is a picnic in Holyrood Park right behind Holyrood house Edinburgh’s largest park is a little bit of countryside in the city.

The new town is an architectural delight of Georgian stone town Houses clustered among courtyards and crescents.
