High Street-At the north end of town in the gently winding High Street, is the Land Gate, one of the round towers built in the wall by Edward III.
| Where is it? | Rye is located NE of Hastings along the A259 which runs parallel to the coastline of the English Channel. Approximately 70-80 miles SE of London and less than 1 hour drive east along the A259 from Rye to the English Channel with links by sea to the rest of continental Europe. |
