This elegant and award winning resort offers plenty of entertainment whatever the weather. The sweeping seafront with its three-tier promenade features the magnificent Carpet Gardens, Victorian Pier and Bandstand. Explore on the Dotto Train or relax on our Seaside Award beach. Children will love Treasure Island, an adventure play area, and the Sovereign Centre leisure complex with its four pools, flumes, waves and much more. The Redoubt, a Napoleonic fortress, houses three military museums. The Towner Art Gallery and Local History Museum offers a fascinating outing. With four theatres, a superb marina and many special events throughout the year, there’s always plenty to do in Eastbourne.

Motorway Access

The quickest route to the motorway is now 45 minutes via the improved A27 to north Brighton. The scenic route via the A22 to the motorway is around an hour.

Rail Links

All trains to London call at Gatwick Airport. London Victoria is 85 minutes - regular hourly services operate throughout the day. The east/west coastway service links the towns on the coast and direct Intercity services to north of England are also available.

Airport

London Gatwick International is just 45 minutes away with over 100 scheduled flights a day operated by British Airways and other leading carriers. Air freight is a growing part of Gatwick s business with full services available. Shoreham to the west offers services for private aircraft as well as commercial flights to the Channel Islands. For travel by helicopter a heliport at Lower Dicker gives easy access to the town only 15 minutes drive from Eastbourne.
